Orting Bible Institute

A ministry to advance your Christian walk and faith in God

Orting Bible Institute

The purpose of Orting Bible Institute (OBI) is to help believers study the Word of God more precisely, to aid the believer in developing a correct understanding and practice of Bible principles, to strengthen the believer’s faith so they continue to grow in grace and the knowledge of the Lord Jesus, and to educate and empower the believer’s gifts and Christian service within the context of their local church body.

OBI is a partnership between Orting Community Baptist Church in Orting, WA and Crown College of the Bible in Knoxville, TN (thecrowncollege.edu). Every student who completes all four quarters of study will receive a One Year Bible Certificate from Crown College and is eligible to participate in Crown’s graduation ceremonies upon recognition of completion. The certificate is also applicable for credit towards other Crown College degree programs. Credit for the class is given to any student, age 16 and above, for attendance to each of the courses, participation in class discussions, and completion of the class workbooks. Young people in Grades 7-10 may audit the course.
